Legal Framework
Kaltiv's legal documents are drafted according to:
- Cameroonian law — Law No. 2024/014 on personal data protection, Law No. 2010/012 on cybersecurity
- OHADA law — Uniform Act on General Commercial Law, applicable in 17 CEMAC/UEMOA member states
- SYSCOHADA — for accounting and financial features
- GDPR best practices — for EU-zone compliance for clients operating in Europe
Dynamic Content
Some pages include tenant-specific data:
- CGV: subscription pricing is loaded dynamically from the database (
subscription_tiers) - Privacy / DPA / Legal Notice: the organization's legal entity name and contact details come from organization settings (
settings.company_info)
Categorization — Big 5 Reference
SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, and Microsoft Dynamics all expose their legal documents via the footer — never under a sidebar L1 navigation item. Kaltiv follows the same practice.
Legal pages do not appear in the sidebar navigation (L1). They are only accessible via:
- The application footer
- Internal cross-links between legal pages (e.g., CGU → Privacy Policy)
- Sign-up and renewal emails
