About Kaltiv
Which sectors / verticals does Kaltiv support?
Kaltiv supports 21 agribusiness verticals identified by our Industry W1 reference catalog:
- Perennial crops: cocoa, coffee, oil palm, rubber, cashew, banana/plantain, citrus
- Annual crops: cotton, cereals, tubers-roots, oilseeds-legumes
- Livestock: ruminants, poultry
- Fisheries & aquaculture: aquaculture, artisanal fisheries
- Forestry: FSC-certified timber production
- Downstream (value chain): agro-processing, trading/aggregation, cooperatives
If your activity does not match any of these verticals, please contact us: the agnostic (universal capabilities) and generic-agribusiness (multi-crop without dominant vertical) fallbacks are usable during onboarding while we evaluate adding it to the catalog.
Which jurisdictions does Kaltiv support?
Kaltiv supports the Franc Zone jurisdictions:
- CEMAC: Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Chad
- UEMOA: Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Togo
Each tenant configures its primary jurisdiction, which determines the chart of accounts (OHADA SYSCOHADA), social obligations (CNPS / IRPP / FNE), and applicable VAT parameters.
Login & Account
I can't log in
- Check your email: Make sure you're using the email address registered in the system
- Check your password: Watch out for uppercase and lowercase letters
- Reset your password: Click "Forgot password?" on the login page
- Contact your administrator: If the problem persists, contact HR
How do I change my password?
- Log in to your account
- Click your name in the top right corner
- Select Account Settings
- Click Change Password
- Enter your old password, then your new password
- Confirm with Save
I forgot my password
- On the login page, click Forgot password?
- Enter your email address
- Check your inbox (check spam too)
- Click the reset link
- Choose a new password
Leave
How do I request leave?
- Sidebar → Human Resources → Leave
- Click + New Request
- Fill in the type, dates and reason
- Click Submit
Your request will be processed by the HR Administrator.
How many leave days do I have?
Each employee accrues 1.5 leave days per month worked, totalling 18 days per year. Your balance is shown at the top of the Leave page.
My leave request was rejected — what should I do?
The rejection comment is visible on your request. Review it to understand the reason, then contact the HR Administrator to discuss an alternative.
Payroll
How do I view my payslip?
- Sidebar → Payroll
- Select the desired month
- View the details of your payslip
How do I request a salary advance?
Contact the HR Administrator, who can record your advance request in the system. The advance will be automatically deducted from your next salary.
My salary looks incorrect
- Check your work hours recorded for the month
- Check any advances in progress
- Review the deductions detailed on your payslip
- If the error persists, contact the HR Administrator with the details
Daily Work
I can't see my plot in the list
Only plots with an active code are displayed. Contact your supervisor to verify your assignment.
How do I correct an entry error?
Contact your supervisor, who can modify or delete the incorrect entry and create a new one.
Production & Stock
How do I record the day's production?
- Sidebar → Production → Palm Oil Production
- Records tab
- Data appears automatically from digitized field forms (CamScanner → WhatsApp)
Where can I see the current oil stock?
- Sidebar → Production → Palm Oil Production
- The overview shows the current stock in drums and jerry cans
- The Stock tab shows the daily entry/exit history
How do I register a security guard log?
- Sidebar → Administration → Security
- Guard tab
- Click New Log
- Fill in: date, shift (day/night), guard name, entries/exits, materials, incidents
- Click Save
API & Integrations
How do I get an API key?
- Sidebar → Settings → API Keys (
/settings/api-keys) - Click New Key
- Configure the name, scopes and request limit
- Copy the key immediately — it will not be shown again

How do I check system status?
Visit the public status page: /status. It shows the real-time availability of all services (application, database, ML server).
Artificial Intelligence
How do ML predictions work?
Kaltiv integrates 6 AI models trained on your real data. Predictions appear directly in the relevant modules (agriculture, sales, dashboard). Each prediction displays a transparency badge indicating its source (ML, Heuristic, or Hybrid).

Offline Mode
Does Kaltiv work without internet?
Yes! Kaltiv is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Install it on your phone or computer to access cached data, record daily work and use ML predictions even without a connection. Data syncs automatically when you're back online.

Data Residency
Where is my data stored?
By default, data is hosted on Supabase servers. The administrator can configure the storage jurisdiction in Settings → Data Residency (/settings/data-residency) to comply with local regulations (Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, EU).
General
The application is slow
- Check your internet connection: The ERP requires a stable connection
- Refresh the page: Press F5 or Ctrl+R
- Clear the cache: Ctrl+Shift+Delete → Clear browsing data
- Switch browsers: Chrome or Firefox recommended
I can't see certain menus
Menus are displayed based on your role in the system:
- Admin: Full access to all modules
- HR Administrator: Employees, Payroll, Leave, Hours, Import
- Supervisor: Daily work, Operations, Attendance
- Employee: Profile, Leave, Payslips
If a menu is missing, check your role with the administrator.
