Overview

The approvals dashboard consolidates 7 types of requests awaiting validation:

  • Consolidated view of all pending requests
  • Filter by type, priority, requester or date
  • Deadline indicators (urgent requests flagged)
  • Counters per category

2-Step Approval Process

Each request follows a 2-level workflow:

  1. Manager Validation: The direct manager approves or rejects
  2. Admin/CEO Validation: The administrator or CEO confirms the final decision

How to Use

Approving a Request

  1. Go to /dashboard/approvals
  2. Select the tab for the request type
  3. Click a request to see the details
  4. Verify the information (requester, dates, reason, attachments)
  5. Click Approve or Reject
  6. Add a comment if needed
  7. Confirm the decision

Filtering Requests

Use the available filters:

  • By type: Leave, Advance, Mission, etc.
  • By status: Pending, Approved, Rejected
  • By period: Submission date
  • By requester: Employee name

Notifications

Relevant parties receive automatic notifications when:

  • A new request is submitted
  • A status changes (approval or rejection)
  • Additional information is requested
  • A request exceeds the processing deadline

FAQ

Q: What happens if my manager doesn't approve quickly? An automatic reminder is sent after 48 hours without action. You can also contact HR.

Q: Can I cancel a submitted request? Yes, if the request is still "Pending" (not yet processed), you can cancel it from your employee space.

Q: How does the 2-step approval work for leave? The Manager approves first, then the HR Administrator or Admin confirms. The request is only validated after both steps.
